The past few years have witnessed India’s transition to a modern anti-trust and competition law regime, introducing law on, among other things, cartelization, price fixing and combinations which are aligned with WTO recommendations and anti-trust policies in the European Union and the United States.
The Firm has been deeply involved in this transition right from its inception, with one of the Firm’s senior partners as member of the Advisory Committee on Advocacy and the Advisory Committee on Regulation constituted by the Competition Commission of India and assisting the Government in streamlining facets of the new enactment at the drafting stage.
