The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet approves the appointment of Justice Hemant Gupta (R) as New Delhi International Arbitration Centre (NDIAC)chairperson and that of Dua Associates’ Partner Ganesh Chandru and Anant Vijay Palli as its part-time members.
The NDIAC is an autonomous institution based in New Delhi, established in 2019 and declared as an Institute of National Importance by an Act of Parliament. It seeks to establish a regime for institutionalized arbitration.
