Dua team represented and assisted the Promoters of EPPL, a Chandigarh based Company, engaged in the business of designing, developing, manufacturing and selling all kinds of corrugated packages, cardboard boxes, in its transaction involving sale of 80% equity stake to OJI, a $ 15 billion Japanese conglomerate, listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange and a global leader in paper and packaging. The deal was successfully closed on October 01, 2021.
The team comprising DUA Consulting as the Investment Banker’s was led by Mr. Shiban Bakshi, Mr. Soman Thomas and Mr. Jayant Prakash; DUA Associates was led by Mr. Siddhartha Kumar (Partner), Mr. Sunil Malik (Tax & Compliance Advisor) and assisted by Mr. Punish Arora (Partner) and Ms. Simran Singh (Principal Associate).
